In this months edition of Stijlvol Wonen they focus on everything that is Belgian. Glenn Sestig is pushed forward as one of the three contemporary Flemish masters.

Some design principles of each of these unique architects are explained shortly. Glenn Sestig talks about the contrast in materials, the play of transparency and reflection and the personal connection he creates with each of his clients.

In the new crime thriller, Spider in the Web, with Monica Bellucci and sir Ben Kingsley the home of Glenn Sestig and his partner Bernard Tournemenne has been crowned one of the co-stars. The townhouse of the 1930's has been renovated extensively creating a backdrop to shoot some intriguing scenes between the two superstars.

We were happy to host the charming team and enjoyed our time during the international premiere in company of the entire cast.

The collaborations between Raf Simons and Glenn Sestig has been manifold and successful. After the first joint effort in 2013 for Kvadrat both parties were passionate about the outcome. The retail unit for Kvadrat has been spread worldwide in over 80 locations. Afterwards we have had the honor to design for Mr. Simons' personal label.

The september issue of Knack Weekend focused on fashion designers and how their designs should and will be presented in their respective stores and retail units.

Ceramics, wood and tinted glass are the materials Glenn Sestig chose to work with when designing his new line for Valerie Objects. The fine details on the outer rim make these dishes unique pieces being as thin and strong as they are. Available in different heights, widths and colors you are able to assembly a collection made to measure.

These new pieces were shown in world premiere during Maison & Objet in Paris last september and were an instant hit.

While designing a new door handle for our own projects, the Close Up series became a complete handcrafted collection of architectural hardware. 

Glenn Sestig created the collection based on one archetypical form extended into an ergonomic yet elegant profile. Due to the combinations of profiles, the Close Up series, featuring subtle and refined detailing, turns out to be a timeless, functional and unique collection.

This penthouse office is basically on top of Ghent, overlooking multiple parks, the rooftops as well as all its landmarks. With a mixture of lively natural stones, concrete slabs and distinctive interior pieces it is a haven on top of the city.

For a special client of ours we have reinterpreted the design of our Lloyd seating collection into a custom-made lighting collection. The production of these pieces shall be in the more than capable hands of Garnier et Linker. The first creation shall be a wall luminaire in glass.
