Italian product and furniture manufacturer Giobagnara and Glenn Sestig are celebrating the latest launch in their ongoing collaboration. The series of new pieces, created for the Lloyd collection, draws on the inherent richness of materials such as Ziricote wood, leather and Travertine stone, enhanced by Sestig’s signature, clean lines and modernist-inspired shapes. The family of luxurious objects includes a fireplace set, trays, book holders, chairs, stools, and console and occasional tables. An added bonus: many of these items are available in a variety of colour options to choose from.

In his monthly column in Wallpaper* magazine, self-confessed ‘quality maniac’ and writer Nick Vinson delves into how good design can improve and perfect our lives. The latest edition zooms into the current, increased demand for home working and the ways the pandemic has affected the way we think about and design our homes. Highlights include how Glenn Sestig’s Deurle base seamlessly combines personal and professional life; and how the architect’s own experiences there have fed into his designs for post-pandemic living and working arrangements.

Set in Belgium’s chic seaside resort of Knokke, One Cartlon is a coveted address in a high-end part of town. This apartment interior, located on the eighth floor, combines the corner building’s views of the nearby square and the water beyond, with 1920s-inspired Indochine style and luxurious appearance. A private retreat, the property spans the entire floorplate and spills out to no fewer than three large terraces.
